Quick Start: How to set a time period and start count-down
- Run PresentationTimer by clicking on the icon in Start Menu > All programs

- Open the timing settings pane. (If PresentationTimer was already running, click the white arrow icon in taskbar to open settings dialog)

- This pane contains an listbox and control button on the right-hand side. The button with plus sign on the top adds a new time period.

- Pressing the 'add' button opens the 'item dialogbox' as shown below.

- In 'item dialogbox', we can set Name, Description, Group and Time length of the period.
Initially, all are blank and time lenght is set to 1 minute.
For this demo, we will just set the time length to 12 minutes and 20 seconds.
Press OK to save

- After 'item dialogbox' is closed, the time period we set is added to the timing schedule as shown below.
Now, we are ready to start the count-down by pressing the Start button at the bottom of the dialog.

- Cue window, with color-feedback only mode, is the green transparent rectangle on the Powerpoint window.

- If mouse pointer is over the cue window, the remaining time is shown. Cue window can be moved by pressing and holding a mouse button while it is over the cue window and move it.
