Software Update (September 12, 2007)
MazeMaker and MazeWalker applications are updated. MazeList file processing in MazeWalker and Wall object paste in MazeMaker has been fixed. Please use web update tool to get the latest versions.

Software Update (August 14, 2007)
MazeMaker, MazeWalker and MazeViewer applications have been updated with major changes. You can get the new version through MazeUpdate (Start button>Maze Suite>Update from Web) or by downloading the updated setup file. Here's a short list changes for each application.

MazeMaker:

  • Light Objects (Can insert custom lights)
  • Texture indexing updated (to apply texture just select an image from dropdown list)
  • Can load common image file formats (automatically converted if not compatible with mazewalker)
  • Updated file format
  • Rotate objects (90,180,270 and custom angle..)
  • Copy/paste objects
  • Move objects with mouse or with ctrl+cursor keys

MazeWalker:
  • Video Mode (Playback from log file)
  • Improved collision detection (smooth tracking of diagonal walls)
  • Enable/disable lighting (in the settings window and also with 'L' key at runtime
  • Load Custom Light Sources
  • Read new maze file format
  • Implemented Texture Index Dictionary

MazeViewer:
  • Reversed z-axis to display mazes in same configuration as MazeMaker by default
  • Read new file format

Behavior Research Methods (May 25, 2007)
Paper titled "Maze Suite 1.0: A complete set of tools to prepare, present and analyze navigational & spatial cognitive neuroscience experiments" has been accepted for publication...

Research Day 2006 (April 25, 2006)
Maze Suite project has received honorable mention at Research Day 2006 of Drexel University. Research Day highlights research, scholarly, creative and entrepreneurial activities in categories such as "Advances in Clinical Practice," "Basic and Applied Sciences", "Emerging Technologies", "Creative Arts and Design", "Humanities" and "Innovations in Education and Outreach" and "Business Research Initiatives".

Video Tutorials available (December 5, 2005)
Three screen capture videos are ready for download in Tutorials section. These demonstrate the basic features in each member program.

Web site launched (December 5, 2005)
